Summer and Fall 2017 Projects

The 2017 season album, from June humidity to November's first serious snow, in four chapters and one confession: we ran out of calendar before we ran out of homeowners willing to plan ahead. Book early next year, the good weeks go fast.

Summer belonged to hail aftermath. June's corridor event kept three crews busy documenting damage, walking claims with homeowners, and replacing dozens of battered asphalt roofs with steel, several owners choosing the opportunity to upgrade rather than rebuild the same vulnerability. Insurance adjusters learned our documentation folder by name.

Early fall was church season: two steeples, a nave re-roof, and a chapel in Stillwater where the bell rope passed through our flashing detail, requiring a collar crafted like jewelry. Late fall delivered the year's fastest full replacement, a Woodbury standing seam job finished in two days between the last warm Friday and the first snow flurry Saturday night, a finish our foreman described as cinematic.

The confession: we turned away as many projects as we booked, because we will not compress crews onto roofs in weather that compromises quality. The remedy is the same every year: winter consultations, spring signatures, summer installs. The calendar is published; the coffee is on us.
